Looking for a boat ramp providing access to the Western Port Bay on Phillip Island, somewhere there is also a beach for the family to enjoy. Within easy walking distance from the Cowes Jetty you come across the Cowes Boat Ramp Jetty. A lovely place to spend the day on the beach for those not wanting to use the boat ramp and head out for a day of fishing.
With a cafe offering views of the bay and the jetty it makes for a great place to explore on Phillip Island. A place to relax and take in the serenity. On our visit there were an older couple sitting on the park bench facing the beach whilst they read their books. They looked extremely relaxed and what a perfect view to look at as you turn the next page on your book.
Note at high tide a lot of the jetty is underwater.
If you’re heading out fishing don’t forget to read up on where you’re allowed to fish. Information can be found as you leave the car park and walk onto the beach.
