As you drive into Colbinabbin small rural farming township you cannot miss seeing the huge silo artwork. The artwork which was completed during the covid-19 period in 2020 by artist Tim Bowtell, took approximately 3 months to complete.
There is a huge area to stop and view the impressive murals. I love these murals, they are one of my favorite silo art. The artwork is captured over 6 silos which are situated side by side. You will also find plenty of information regarding the artwork in the viewing area.

About the Colbinabbin Silo Art
I was blown away by the magnitude of the artwork and the detail. The artwork captures the historical community events of Colbinabbin. The Colbo Tractor Pull which in the 1980’s attracted approx. 22,000 people, a lot more than the expected 3,000. The Colbo’s Farmers Picnic on the Hill dating back to the 1900’s. Then there is the train and railway station, the fire trucks and the kids in their sporting gear heading off to the recreational reserve.
The Colbinabbin community must be extremely proud of the silo artwork along with the number of tourists flocking to the small town to see the artwork with their own eyes.
