Regional Victoria is becoming a very popular destination with tourists flocking to the country to explore, not only the countryside, but also the amazing artwork on silos and water tanks. In March 2021 artist Jimmy DVate completed a brilliant piece of artwork on the Goulburn Valley Water tank in Kyabram.
One of the main tourist attractions in Kyabram is the Fauna Park which we are yet to explore. The Fauna Park wetlands has been the inspiration for Jimmy DVates artwork on the water tank.

As you stand on the once used train platform which will be turned into a viewing station you will witness some of the detailed artwork. Ensure you don’t miss either driving or walking around the block to capture the artwork from all sides of the water tank. I’m undecided what my favorite piece is, from the Cockatoo to the turtle or the Rosella, but then there’s the dragon fly and other wildlife…. Jimmy Dvate has captured all the wildlife extremely well and creatively used the existing landscape to enhance the artwork.
