Greens Lake is a scenic place take time out from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you get in early you can pitch your tent or park up your van alongside the scenic lake….imagine waking up and looking out across the lovely lake.


About Greens Lake Recreation Reserve Campground
Greens Lake Recreation Reserve Campground is a very popular spot for water sport enthusiasts especially in summer or on long weekends. Whilst it attracts the crowds there is plenty of room for campers and day trippers.

Many bringing their dogs whom are welcome but must be kept on a leash. It’s a place for all ages to enjoy. From young kids who can float on the lake in their blow up inflatables to the big kids testing out their jet ski or testing out their skills at water skiing.
With an abundance of room for campers to find a spot so they are not right on top of other campers and for those wanting to camp with family and friends there is plenty of space. But as for all free camping grounds if it’s peak season or a long weekend/school holidays make sure you arrive early to secure your camping area to avoid disappointment.


Make sure you read the signs as to what areas camping is permitted, there are some areas where camping is prohibited.
