Do The Below 5 Things Sound Like You?
- You love walking in nature?
- Love being surrounding by tree ferns?
- Enjoy admiring towering trees?
- Want to feel the fresh air as you take deep breaths?
- Listening to the sound of falling water?
If any of the above sound like you then you should head to Toorongo Falls in Noojee. The walk to the tiered Toorongo Falls is simply beautiful. As you make your way through the ferns, the towering gum trees which reach up to the sky you can see the Falls in the distance. Some of the walk takes you along the Little Toorongo River. You will pass boulders covered in brightly coloured green moss. Everywhere is so lush and green.
We took our time to reach the falls as we listened to the birds happily singing away perched high on the tree tops. The sound of the water pounding over the water fall is awesome to listen to. We saw a number of different species of mushrooms. Then of course there’s the feeling of breathing in fresh country air. What more could you ask for on a nature walk. Nearly forgot to mention if you are a photographer you will fall in love with this forest. It really is a photographers dream.
Once you reach the Toorongo Falls you will find a viewing platform which is a great place to take your selfie with the falls in the background. The falls are great to see.
